Fall open house for students

The Collaborative Center for Learning and Development and Links Academy One-to-One Learning (both part of Greenwich Education Group), announce their Fall Open House on Monday, Oct. 19, from 5:30-7 p.m., at 78 Harvard Avenue, Suite 330, Stamford. These dynamic community focused organizations will showcase their integrated and customized approaches to providing student assessment, coaching, tutoring, and related services to students of all ages and capabilities.

The Collaborative Center and Links Academy offer individualized programs tailored to meet the unique learning style of each student through comprehensive assessment, coaching and tutoring activities, wholly focused on the needs and capabilities of each student. They focus on creating customized, focused plans of action that leverage each individual student’s strengths while addressing the student’s roadblocks and challenges, and by identifying and implementing strategies to overcome obstacles to academic and life success. Programs can be structured as either short-term (i.e. a few weeks) or longer-term (i.e. an  academic semester or year), based on the needs of each student and family. Our dynamic and highly credentialed staff of professionals and therapeutic practitioners will be on hand during the Open House to meet and discuss the  various program elements available to students and families.

According to Diane Ferber, executive director of the Collaborative Center, “Our Open House will give parents, school personal and other student service providers the opportunity to gain an understanding of our highly individualized, integrated and personal approach to a child’s learning, which is the hallmark of The Collaborative Center and Links Academy.”

Andrea MacGilpin, Director of Links Academy, adds, “We are committed to providing an outstanding customized experience for students in a nurturing and empowering environment that celebrates learning. We are focused on meeting the unique learning styles of each and every student, fostering relationships, and building community.”

The Collaborative Center for Learning and Development offers assessment, counseling, academic skills coaching, test preparation and tutoring services targeted toward unique learners of all academic abilities and age groups, including those with executive functions challenges, anxiety, learning differences, writing and math challenges, adaptive social skills, language skills and emotional regulation skills.
