Haiti-Nepal Charity Awareness Walk in Greenwich

In 2010 a devastating 7.0 earthquake ravaged Haiti. This past April, Nepal was also ravaged by a 7.8 earthquake. These disasters have left two of the most vulnerable populations even more at risk of hunger, disease and homelessness. Devastating disasters like these take years to recover from.

The Foundation of Hope has partnered with Save The Children for five-month charity campaign in an effort to raise funds and awareness for the families and victims of these devastating natural disasters. I truly believe the lives of these children are worth our best efforts. We would love for you to cover this fantastic story of hope, inspiration and charity. Additionally, this is a campaign your audiences may find interest in participating in.

Our next upcoming event will be The Haiti-Nepal Charity Awareness Walk held Saturday, Oct. 24, from 1-2 p.m., down Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich. All are welcome to participate. Participants are encouraged to register as teams.

For more information regarding the walk visit: http://www.savethechildren.org/rfk/haitinepal. All proceeds go directly to Save The Children who have been serving the deprived areas of Haiti and Nepal for over 30 years.
