Greenwich Arts Council’s Curiosity Concerts series kicks off

The Greenwich Arts Council’s Curiosity Concerts series of 10 free family concerts opened its season on Saturday, Sept. 19. The Hartford-based Asylum Quartet performed an engaging and eclectic mix of music arranged for four saxophones to a sold-out crowd at YWCA Greenwich.

Now in its third season, Curiosity Concerts brings professional musicians to perform one hour of great music at different venues in the Greenwich area. Producer Shelly Cryer says, “Our concerts are designed to be as engaging for adults as they are for children. These are nationally- and internationally-recognized musicians who deliver an hour of quality family time once per month.” The concerts are free, but reservations are required at CuriosityConcerts.org.

The nine upcoming Curiosity Concerts bring a range of musical styles to the area. They include:
