Are You Geared Up for Nature Connection?

We’ll help you and your young explorers build up resources to connect with the natural world.  We gain practice equipping ourselves for outdoor activities, rain or shine.  Learn which clothes to wear, what gear to bring, and the community resources you need for further family nature connection and a maximum amount of fresh air.  In case of extreme weather, we bring nature stations into our bright classroom.

Summer Journals: Maps, Sketches, Stories, Doodles, and Searches with special guest experts who will explore with us and stretch our imaginations.

MUSHROOMS — Nature Play with Caregivers, for children ages 1-3, Wednesdays, 9-10 a.m., July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29, Aug. 5 and 12.

We’re rooting around for the pure wonder of it! This early time of discovery, participation, and sensory growth is vital. We’ll practice equipping for active outdoor activities, rain or shine. In case of extreme weather, we bring nature stations into our bright, ecofriendly classroom. Let’s share our favorite songs, stories, and tips, tales, and healthy recipes from the garden.

Arts & Crafts: We use our hands to build on thematic stories and adventures.

Building Area: Soil, sun, winds, water, and woods all inspire early engineering with sticks, stones, and other manipulatives.
