Wounded Warriors to compete in annual Sail To Prevail Belle Haven Challenge Cup

Disabled Armed Forces veterans from Connecticut and New York will participate in Sail to Prevail’s annual Belle Haven Challenge Cup on Sunday, June 21, at Belle Haven Club, 100 Harbor Drive, Greenwich. Welcome remarks by Sail to Prevail and Bank of America begin at 11:30 a.m. Racing kicks off at noon, concludes at 4 p.m.

Sail to Prevail creates opportunities for more than 15,000 disabled children and adults to use sailing as an experience to overcome adversity in their lives. Bank of America is sponsoring the veterans’ team for a third consecutive year.

Joining these disabled veterans will be Bank of America employees, including members of the company’s Disability Advocacy Network and Military Support & Assistance Group, which collaborated with Goodwill Industries and Wounded Warriors to provide this unique experience for the veterans.

Sail to Prevail has a growing commitment to supporting and serving veterans. Support for the military has been an integral part of Bank of America’s culture for more than 90 years, support that permeates every part of the business. This annual event provides disabled veterans with an opportunity to showcase their abilities and be recognized for their dedicated service.
