ISD first graders collect 1,100+ book donations

First graders at the International School at Dundee (ISD) collected more than 1,100 gently used and new books — for toddlers through high school level readers — for distribution to the Montefiore Pediatric Clinic in the Bronx. To support the 25th annual Children’s Collective Book Drive this May, first graders created posters, made daily announcements at school and sorted the books.

About ISD: The International School at Dundee was authorized in July of 2003 as an official International Baccalaureate school. ISD is one of only 181 IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) authorized schools in the US, and one of only a few elementary schools in Connecticut to receive the IBPYP accreditation. ISD offers programs for students from kindergarten through fifth grade.

ISD first graders Jason O’Brien, Michael Joseph, Alexandria Nestoros collect, sort, count and bag new and gently used book donations for the 25th Annual Children’s Collective Book Drive, benefitting the Montefiore Pediatric Clinic in the Bronx.
