Greenwich residents graduate from Greens Farms Academy

On June 4, nine students from Greenwich graduated from Greens Farms Academy in Westport.

Scott Brown (Skidmore College), Katherine Buonano (Bard College), Katherine Carlson (Colby College), Reilly Carter (Boston College), Charlie Cunningham (Elon University), Jim Djema (Suffolk University), Michael Van Hoesen (Santa Clara University), Alexander Williams (Middlebury College) and Kevin Wong (New York University) were part of a 78-member class.

Williams, who graduated with high honors, was inducted as a member of the Cum Laude Society, and Buonano received the Visual Arts Purchase Prize, presented to a student who has produced an exceptional piece of original artwork, which will be added to the school’s permanent collection. Both Van Hoesen and Wong graduated with honors.

Greens Farms Academy is a PreK-12, independent day school in the Greens Farms section of Westport, and serves students from 18 different towns. For more information, visit www.gfacademy.org.
