Second Congregational Church offers Performing Arts Camp

Second_CongregationalChurchChildren and youths age 9-18 will study singing, acting and dance with experienced, professionally-trained instructors at Performing Arts Camp from July 13-17, from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., at Second Congregational Church, 139 E. Putnam Avenue, Greenwich.

Goals include improving vocal techniques, learning movement for the stage and developing essential acting skills.

About the instructors: Kerry Gotschall, a classically trained singer and performer, has performed in more than 30 musicals or operas and is a choreographer/stage manager of musicals at the Stanwich School in Greenwich.

Diane LaSala, a professional producer and director, has worked extensively throughout Fairfield County, is an 11-year teacher at Stamford Theatre Works & Musical Theatre Camp co-director, and founded the Debut Players, Inc.

Kathryn Mulcahey, a professional dancer and an accomplished teacher and choreographer, has appeared in national commercials and performed behind Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Usher and Katy Perry.

Tuition is $395 through June 15 and $425 beginning June 16. Scholarships are available.
