Touch a Truck and Field Day event supports local charity

The Junior League of Greenwich will hold its 15th annual Touch a Truck event Sunday, June 7, from 10-2, at Greenwich Town Hall, rain or shine.

touchatruckkidnewfull1The event, generously sponsored by Miller Motorcars, Valley Pediatrics and Greenwich Pediatric Dental Group and Moffly Media, is attended by more than 2,000 people annually. It includes a variety of vehicles such as traditional construction, emergency and rescue vehicles. Children and adults are welcome to ride The Roaming Railroad and touch a Greenwich fire truck.

Entertainment will be provided by the Bossy Frog Band. On the field will be bouncy castles and hands on soccer instruction by Filipo Sports & Entertainment. Food and refreshments from a variety of food trucks will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the community projects of the Junior League of Greenwich.

General admission to the event will be $30 per family for tickets purchased in advance at jlgreenwich.org or $40 if purchased at the door. There also is a special $100 VIP family ticket that includes a photo shoot from Classic Kids of Greenwich, two free classes at Pure Barre and a chance to win fabulous prizes from the drawing.
