The members of the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich will have a feast on their hands as Thanksgiving arrives early for them.

More than 400 members of the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich are set to give thanks a little early this year with the annual Thanksgiving celebration.

The kids will celebrate the holiday at the 12th Annual Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 4:30 p.m. More than 400 members are expected as they enjoy a Thanksgiving feast provided by the club’s community partners and served by community leaders, volunteers and club board members.

“The annual feast enables club members, for some of whom this will be their only dinner that day, a chance to eat a nutritious meal with club staff and peers as a family,” Don Palmer, he club’s program director said. “This event is keeping in line with the club’s commitment to offer kids a safe and nurturing environment and a sense of belonging.”

This year’s feast will feature holiday favorites including turkey with gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, fresh green beans, and apple and pumpkin pies thanks to a cornucopia of generous sponsors.

“If it wasn’t for our sponsors, we wouldn’t be able to continue this tradition. It means so much to our members”, said Mr. Palmer.

According to the club, Credit Suisse, Smith Party Rentals, Watson’s Catering, the Wolff Family and Stew Leonard’s will “provide a delicious experience for all in attendance.”
