Burns Supper to celebrate the 257th birthday of Robert Burns

Calling all Celtic culture aficionados! Celebrate the 257th birthday of Robert Burns (most famous in the U.S. for writing Auld Lang Syne), the beloved national poet of Scotland on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 6-9 p.m., at the Knights of Columbus 37 West Putnam Avenue, Greenwich.

The Scots celebrate his birthday every year with dinner, music, poetry, and a wee dram (or two). Break out your tartan, polish your “Braveheart” brogue, and secure your tickets to this event, which is being organized by the University of Edinburgh Alumni Association.

All are welcome.
