After voting, shop Election Day Plant Sale

With Election Day fast approaching, the decision to vote for the Republicans or the Democrats won’t be the only choice you’ll be making. You also have to choose which of a wide selection of plants for the winter months you want.

So on Nov. 6, don’t just take a trip to your local polling place. Also visit the Garden Education Center of Greenwich for its Election Day Plant Sale taking place at 130 Bible Street that same day.

The sale serves as one of the “best kept secrets in Greenwich,” according to the center, where shoppers can find the perfect plants for the holidays at affordable prices. The collection includes topiaries such as dogs, cats, gazebos and more. Unique ferns, carnivorous plants, succulents, amaryllis, Christmas cactus, cyclamen and more can also be found at the event.

So make your vote count at the plant sale on Tuesday, Nov. 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
