Police boost presence at Greenwich High

Response to online post 'out of an abundance of caution'

Greenwich Police are patrolling at Greenwich High School after an anonymous comment police said could be interpreted as a threat was posted online.

Lt. Kraig Gray, public information officer for Greenwich Police, said the increased presence was “out of an abundance of caution in response to security concerns expressed by the school.”

“We are comfortable that the school is safe and secure and it is our understanding that the normal routine of the school will be followed,” Gray said in a statement
