Caroline Worra presents Adventures in Opera

Free family classical music concert

Caroline Worra presents “Adventures in Opera” with Brian Garman on piano Saturday, Dec. 19, at 2 p.m., at Byram Schubert Library, 21 Mead Avenue, Greenwich. Concerts are 50 minutes long and are designed to inspire parents as well as their children of any age (but your child should be able to enjoy an hour of music).

Explore the characters and emotions behind great operatic arias and songs sung in Italian, French, German, and English performed by soprano Caroline Worra and pianist Brian Garman. Worra has sung more than 75 different operatic roles, including 20 world, American, and regional premieres. Ms. Worra has worked with more than 30 opera companies across the U.S., including The Metropolitan Opera. Worra has a Doctor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Indiana University and teaches at The Stanwich School in Greenwich.

Curiosity Concerts is a series of free family concerts presented by professional musicians at different venues in the Greenwich area.
