Jersey Boys cast perform at 24th annual benefit dinner

The 24th annual Benefit Dinner for The Inner-City Foundation For Charity & Education will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich. The gala will begin with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7. Dress is business attire.

The Midtown Men — 4 Stars From The Original Cast of Jersey Boys — will be the featured performers at the dinner. The group took Broadway by storm in one of the biggest hits of all-time and now they are reunited together again. Tony Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony Award nominee J. Robert Spencer star in this one-of-a-kind concert experience bringing to life their favorite “Sixties Hits” from The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Motown, The Four Seasons and more. During their time in the mega-hit musical Jersey Boys, these four talented artists shared the stage for over a thousand performances. They have delighted television audiences with appearances on “Access Hollywood,” “Good Morning America,” and “The Today Show.” The Midtown Men have performed with over 25 major symphony orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra.

Missy and Jim O’Shaughnessy, and Sabrina and Walter Raquet are chairing the 2015 Benefit Committee. They are being assisted by Audrey and Daniel Dornier, Helen and Dan FitzPatrick, Janie and Dean Gestal, Vilma and Dick Matteis, and Sue and Bill Mitchell who are serving as co-chairs of the 2015 Benefit Committee. Daniel McCarthy, President and CEO of Frontier Communications Corporation, is the Corporate Committee Chair for the event. Five-time Emmy Award winner Dave Price will serve as master of ceremonies.

Since 1992, the Inner-City Foundation For Charity & Education has awarded more than $27 million in grants for programs that serve needy and at-risk children and adults of Fairfield County. In addition to providing scholarship funds for inner-city students, other organizations receiving grants include Al’s Angels, Cardinal Shehan Center, Caroline House, Center for Family Justice, Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Emerge, Family ReEntry, HomeFront, Homes with Hope, Kennedy Center, Kids in Crisis, Liberation Programs, LifeBridge Community Services, Mercy Learning Center, Norma F. Pfriem Breast Cancer Center, Smilow-Burroughs Clubhouse, Sterling House Community Center, and the Thomas Merton House of Hospitality.
