GBSO’s brings us Beethoven’s 9th, Golden Globe nods and more

HAN Arts & Leisure with Sally Sanders, Steve Coulter and the “Reel Dad,” Mark Schumann, take a look at movies, the arts and other events going on in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and Westchester County, New York — and the surrounding area.

This week, Sally Sanders and Steve Coulter welcome guests from the Greater Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra, in preparation for Dec. 12′ performance of Beethoven’s Ninth with the Mendelssohn Choir Choir of Connecticut and the Fairfield University Chamber Singers. Mark Halstead, a member of the board of directors of the symphony talks about the upcoming show and more on the Greater Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra. Sara Heaton, soprano and soloist in the concert, talks with Sally and Steve and gives an incredible preview of her upcoming performance.

Later in the show, Sally and Steve get ‘Reel’ and talk Golden Globe nominations.
