EMS sixth graders learn social dancing

Eastern Middle School (EMS) sixth graders are learning the art of traditional ballroom dancing through an enrichment program taught by the Walter Schalk School of Dance.

Over the course of eight sessions, students learn a variety of dances including the waltz, fox trot, cha-cha, salsa, rumba, jitterbug and swing. More than 180 EMS sixth graders are participating in the PTA-hosted program.
