Pumpkins, Music and More at the Greenwich Library

Celebrate Halloween at Greenwich Library with pumpkin carving for middle school students and spooky fun for young children. Don’t forget, children may come in costume to the Musical Sing-Along on Saturday, October 31.

Pumpkin Carving: Saturday, Oct. 24, 1-3 p.m.

Students in grades 5-8 are invited to a pumpkin carving party! Carve a classic jack-o-lantern or create your own design. Pumpkins, stencils, tools and refreshments will be provided by the Library – just bring your imagination. Space limited to 20 children. There is no charge for this program. Contact the Children’s Room at 203-622-7940 or use the Library’s online calendar to register beginning October 5.

Margie’s Madhouse Musical Halloween: Saturday, Oct. 31 at 10:30 a.m.

It’s Halloween! Children are invited to dress in costume for our Halloween/Fall “Music with Margie” fun time in the Meeting Room. Sing and dance at Margie’s Madhouse! Children age 3-7 (with a caregiver) are invited to join the fun. Children will take away a Halloween goodie bag after music time.

Early Childhood Music and Movement consultant and family performer, Margie Warner, has a unique understanding of what makes kids tick. Libraries, schools, daycares and family resource centers have been enthusiastically recommending her interactive programming for kids from 1 to 100!

Margie’s programs are multi-sensory, using music, rhythm, and rhyme, and very interactive for all!

No registration necessary. Contact the Children’s Room at 203-622-7940 for more information.

These events are made possible through the support of the Greenwich Library Board of Trustees and contributions by generous donors.
