Connecticut Sports Talk: Oct. 20

Rob Adams and Donald Eng take a look at the fall standings (excluding football). It seems that Darien is in control in field hockey, but what about the other sports. From what Rob and Don can see, the boys soccer tournament will be a great battle.

After that, they look at the ice hockey schedules. There are always some fascinating match ups, and this upcoming season is no different. Fairfield Prep, for instance, will play more than just a few FCIAC foes. They’ll head out of state as well. Also heading out of state will be Darien and Greenwich. What will the FCIAC and SCC look like for 2015-16?

Of course, HAN.Network will have a lot of hockey (and basketball as well ) during the winter months.

Finally, Don and Rob preview the cross country championships that will air live on the HAN Network Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 2:00 p.m. We also climb into the archive for interviews with members of cross country teams from Ridgefield, Danbury, and New Canaan.
