Senior Center: Build Your Own Back

Tired of suffering from chronic back issues day in and day out? Want to learn how to be more pro active? We are excited to announce that popular Certified Fitness Instructor Wendy Lee Rosa will be facilitating this innovative class that addresses back pain in a whole new and fun way.

B.Y.O.B. is a strength and stretch regime designed for individuals dealing with, or wanting to help prevent back issues. The class will take the participants through a series of body weight, as well as resistant band exercises to improve posture and flexibility while strengthening areas of the core and back that are generally the weakest. Wendy will modify the moves for mat or chair in order to meet everyone’s needs (Please bring a mat along if you wish to participate in the floor option.) Balance, Tai Chi, and meditation are also included in the program making it a very well rounded, feel good experience.

Classes run Thursdays, at 2:15 p.m., beginning in October. Class is free to Senior Center Members.
