PTA fund-raiser: Hamilton Avenue tag sale on Saturday

The Hamilton Avenue School PTA will hold its fall tag sale fund-raiser at the school, located at 184 Hamilton Avenue, on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All are welcome to attend and entrance for the general public is free after 9 a.m.

But for a first crack at the goodies for sale, early birds can gain special advance entrance from 8 to 9 a.m. for just a $5 donation to the PTA.

A wide variety of gently used and useful merchandise will be available for sale including toys and games, bicycles, housewares, sporting goods, electronics, books, CD’s/videos/DVD’s, furniture, holiday items, antiques/collectibles, artwork, musical instruments, jewelry, tools, clothing and accessories.

Additionally, donations for the tag sale are welcomed and encouraged by the PTA.

Donations for the sale can be dropped off at Hamilton Avenue School on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 2:45 to 7 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Donors are asked to enter the gym via the school’s back door near the large playground when making their donations.

For those potential donors who need to drop off their donations at an alternate time, arrangements for individual appointments can be made.

For additional information or to set up a drop-off appointment, contact Hamilton Avenue School Tag Sale Committee Chair Jessica Capozza at [email protected]

All proceeds from the sale will go to the Hamilton Avenue School PTA, which uses funds raised to support student enrichment including educational field trips and enhanced learning opportunities.
