Margenot joins First County Bank

Richard J. Margenot, a Greenwich-based attorney, has joined First County Bank as a corporator and was welcomed by the bank’s board of directors officially at the June 20 annual meeting. The position of corporator is a unique opportunity offered to community representatives. First County Bank corporators serve as “additional eyes and ears to the community” according to the bank and Mr. Margenot joins a group of 36 others in that role.

“First County Bank has had a professional relationship with Rick for many years, working together on a number of business and trust and estate matters,” said First County Bank Chairman and CEO Rey Giallongo. “As a lifelong resident of Greenwich and having practiced law in lower Fairfield County since 1985, he will have the best interests of the bank in mind when dealing with area businesses and individuals. Rick will make an excellent corporator. We look forward to his contribution and advice as we grow our franchise.”

In a press release, the bank praised Mr. Margenot for managing a busy law practice focusing on real estate, probate litigation, estate planning, conservatorship and business matters. He is an executive board member of the Greenwich Council Boy Scouts of America and serves as vice president of operations there and also a member of the board of directors for the Montgomery Pinetum Park Coalition Inc.
