“Over 40 & Looking for Work: Understanding Generational Differences in the Workplace,” presented by Susan Atherton at Mondays @ 7 on July 20, at 8 p.m., at United Methodist Church of Westport and Wilton, 49 Weston Road, Westport. Networking from 7-7:30 a.m.

This generation is the first to find 4 generations all in the workplace at the same time. What challenges does this imply for the job-seeker, especially those over 40?

In this session, Atherton will provide invaluable insights to help the “mature” job seeker land a and keep a job in this environment.

Susan Atherton is with the CT Department of Labor for 22 years, and is a certified professional resume writer, and global career development facilitator.

Atherton has authored presentations on self-esteem, plain text resumes, happiness, and keywords.  She is known for her never-ending research on topics relating to older workers, resumes, interviewing tips, & ever-evolving job search strategies, all which incorporate social media.
