'Symphony of the Soil' screening & farewell reception for Jeff Cordulack

Farewell Film Night: ‘Symphony of the Soil’ screening and farewell reception for Audubon employee Jeff Cordulack will take place Thursday, July 2, from 6- 9 p.m., at the Audubon Greenwich, 613 Riversville Road.

Drawing from ancient knowledge and cutting edge science, Symphony of the Soil is a superb adventure into the hidden worlds and complex ecosystems found within Earth’s thin, life-giving crust. The film also examines our human relationship with soil, the use and misuse of soil in agriculture, deforestation and development, and the latest scientific research on soil’s key role in ameliorating the most challenging environmental issues of our time.

Filmed on four continents and featuring esteemed scientists, farmers, and ranchers, this special screening of Symphony of the Soil is a fitting way to say goodbye and good luck to Jeff Cordulack — an Audubon employee for more than 10 years. Jeff is leaving for a dream job — he will join CT NOFA, the CT Chapter of the Northeast Organic Farming Association, as their new executive director. This organization promotes sustainable agriculture, organic foods, has pioneered organic land care (OLC) standards, and offers OLC Accreditation courses for landscapers, landscape architects, gardeners, and environmental educators.

Please join us for a wine & cheese reception with Jeff at 6 p.m. and this 1.5 hour film, starting at 7 p.m., $10 per person. Please RSVP to Jeff at [email protected] or call him at 203-613-8813 anytime. For a trailer, visit symphonyofthesoil.com.
