After a bunch of practices and workouts this spring, the Greenwich High School football team got to show off their talents in front of coaches, fans and families earlier today.

Earlier today, Cardinal Stadium was host to the annual Red & White football game, which puts the GHS football roster against each other in a game that lasts four quarter, with a running clock throughout the contest. This year it was the Red team that came away with the hard-fought 14-0 victory over the White team.

In the second quarter, Austin Longi used his speed and strength to blow by the White team’s defense and net the first touchdown of the came. The second score came from the Red team’s defense, as Pete Agro picked up the fumble recovery and darted 46 yards for the touchdown in the third quarter.
