Greenwich Academy volleyball blanks Dragons, 3-0

The Greenwich Academy volleyball team continued its winning ways earlier this afternoon, beating St. Luke’s School, 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-12). With the victory, the Gators upped its record to 5-1 on the season.

Tyla Taylor led the way for Greenwich Academy, netting eight kills, eight digs and two aces. Taylor Ohman led the team when it came to assists, netting i19 on the afternoon. She also finished with two aces. Grace Evans had one block, three digs and five kills. Evans also had 11 straight service points in the third and deciding game.

The Greenwich Academy volleyball team will be back in action on Oct. 10 when they battle crosstown rival Convent of the Sacred Heart.
