Blessing of the Animals planned Sept. 30

There are many animal lovers in Greenwich and they will have a special opportunity to show that love in a unique way.The Round Hill Community will hold its annual “Blessing of the Animals” on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m.

The public is invited to bring their favorite pets to the church for a special service that will focus on God’s gifts of animals, give thanks for the role that animals hold in our lives and reaffirm our responsibilities as stewards of God’s creation.

 

Everyone is invited to come with or without a pet. The service will be held in the Round Hill Community House, 397 Round Hill Road. The coffee hour following the service will have beverages and snacks for the two and four-legged attendees.
