Brunswick School wrestling blitzes Trinity School, 58-16

The Brunswick School wrestling team kept the good times rolling Monday afternoon when it upended Trinity School, 58-16.

The Bruins finished the meet with a plethora of pinfalls. At 106, Brooks Hennessy pinned Adam Armanat 1:02 into his match. Not to be outdone was his brother Andrew Hennessy, who took care of Trinity’s Peter Donohue with a pinfall 1:24 into his match.

Also netting a pinfall victory was Emmett Bell in the 120-pound weight class, as he wasted little time and pinned Coby Shalam 57 seconds into his match.

However the fastest pinfall victory for the Bruins on the day was in the 195-pound weight class, as Matt Marvin finished off Arnold Nam in 32 seconds to record the six points. In the 145-pound division, Brunswick’s Kyle Davis scored the hard-fought pinfall victory over Trinity’s Jeffrey Wieland at the 2:41 mark of the match.

Scoring a major decision victory was Jack Jones in the 152-pound weight class, as he upended Frank Wiley 13-5 and grabbed four points for the Bruins.

In addition, Lachlan Rosato at 220 and Brunswick heavyweight Joe Fervil picked up forfeit victories, while Sandro Mariani was his match at 132 due to injury time.
