First Church Preschool shows helping hands

gl-Pacific-house-12-11In early November, our four-year olds from the First Church Preschool Red Door class, led by their teachers Marie Fernando and Michele Mozian, prepared brown bag lunches for the folks at Pacific House in Stamford. They assembled sandwiches, drinks, fruit, and snacks for the lunches. They also added decorated notes to them. Our other children, who range in ages from three to five, decorated the paper bags. The Red Door families provided the supplies for the lunches. This is the second time the children have participated in this service project for Pacific House, and it is meant to help teach them ways they can be kind and helpful towards others, as well as how to build caring communities.
