On Nov. 4, at the Greenwich Country Club the CT American Diabetes Association featured a unique, multi-media, fine dining experience.

Master Chefs came together to prepare an elegant, five-course dinner paired with fine wines from Lenard Kreusch Wines. The evening showcased a local farm to table experience with master chefss Marc Weber of On the Marc, Frederic Kieffer of L’escale, Pietro Scotti of DaPietro’s, Bill Taibe  of Le Farm, Edward Varipapa of Leon’s and Lisa Maronian of Sweet Lisa.

Sustainable Food Pioneer, Chef and Author Michel Nischan emceed the evening while guests watched the Master Chefs work in the kitchen. The event honored individuals who have had a large impact in the fight against diabetes. This year’s “STOP Diabetes Heroes” Awards went to Geralyn Spollett and Chef Sam Talbot.

The evening was chaired by Shelly Tretter Lynch, Sabrina Forsythe, Geri Corrigan and James Parker. Proceeds will help launch a Youth Leadership Initiative in Fairfield County and to the American Diabetes Association to STOP Diabetes.
