Citizens Bank honors Sherri Hutchinson for 25 years of service

At a ceremony in November, Citizens Bank CEO Bruce Van Saun unveiled 138 specially inscribed bricks honoring colleagues who have been with the company for 25 years.

The bricks, each bearing the name of an honoree — including Greenwich resident Sherri Hutchinson — will be installed outside Citizens’ headquarters at One Citizens Plaza. More than 2,200 colleagues have been honored with bricks since the bank started the tradition in 1999.

The brick dedication is part of Citizens’ Credo Celebration, which recognizes colleagues’ hard work on behalf of the bank’s customers and local communities. U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, U.S. Reps. Jim Langevin and David Cicilline; joined company executives in congratulating honorees and their families at the ceremony.

“Our colleagues’ significant contributions to our company and steadfast commitment have helped us grow, succeed and make a real difference for our customers and the communities we serve,” said Mr. Van Saun. “It’s an honor to celebrate all of our colleagues during our Credo Celebration.”

Credo Celebration is an eight day-long celebration that celebrates the bank’s colleagues, customers and communities through fun-filled activities and recognition, including food drives, community activities, recognition and more.
