International School at Dundee (ISD) students and faculty hosted its annual Veteran’s Day Assembly on Nov. 12.

The fourth grade students presented information about America’s different military organizations, along with a lovely tribute of symbolism from the book America’s White Table.

The assembly also included a school-wide recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance and a sing-a-long of patriotic songs, including My Country Tis of Thee, accompanied by ISD fourth grader Jacky Song on clarinet. Beautiful notes of thanks from many classes were given to the veterans who attended the ceremony.
