The life and legacy of David Theis will be marked at a special memorial service Saturday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m. at Christ Church.

Several speakers are lines up for the event including First Selectman Peter Tesei, Chief of Police James Heavey, State Rep. Fred Camillo  and U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. at the church, which is located at 254 East Putnam Avenue, and is expected to be packed so people are urged to come early. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations made in Mr. Theis’ memory may be made to the following organizations: Greenwich Old Timers’ Athletic Association, P.O. Box 558, Greenwich, CT 06836 or Adopt A Dog, 23 Cox Avenue, Armonk, NY 10504.
