Each year, the offices of Halstead Property come together to focus on giving back to people in need in their community — from gathering toys for Toys for Tots to collecting coats to give to those in need.

In an effort to focus on not-for-profit causes and community initiatives for Halstead’s 1,200 agents and realtors throughout Connecticut, New York and New Jersey, the real estate brokerage firm founded the internal initiative Helping Hands. With the help of Halstead Helping Hands Ambassadors, the firm identifies local initiatives or charities that are in need of help and open the opportunity up throughout the firm.

Recent firm events have included a donation to ALS through the Ice Bucket Challenge, a coat drive that is currently in process and a partnership with New York Cares for community clean ups.

In Fairfield County, each office has picked its own local philanthropic effort, with the Greenwich office’s effort directed toward Insprica toy donations. More information is online at Inspiricact.org/upcoming-events.
