Parks and Recreation plans roller skating party

The Department of Parks and Recreation is planning a roller skating party at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Monday, Dec. 29. The session will be offered for children in kindergarten through sixth grade from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The cost to skate is $5 and includes skate rental if needed, though visitors may use their own roller blades or skates. A parent or guardian must accompany children during the session.

Sherry Klein, who runs the popular roller skating program at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center, will also run the program at the Western Greenwich Civic Center. She will direct the day of games and contests for everyone.

Interested persons may sign up in advance at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center, 449 Pemberwick Road. For more information, call Frank Gabriele at the Civic Center, 203-532-1259, or visit Greenwichct.org.
