Brunswick soccer team starts season with 3-2 win over Taft

The Brunswick School soccer team wanted to start the season on a positive note and did exactly that earlier today at the Brunswick King Street campus.

Playing Taft School, the Bruins were able to capitalize on two penalty kicks and a corner kick to come away with the 3-2 victory.

The star of the game was Frankie Agrest, who netted the hat trick for the Bruins. In addition to his clutch PK shooting, Agrest got the beautiful feed from Owen Schubert off the corner and put the ball in the back of the net.

C.J. Murphy also has a strong day for Brunswick between the pipes, as he was able to halt Taft in the waning moments of the game.

With the victory, Brunswick improves to 1-0 on the season.
