Winter Portrait Concert planned for this weekend

Enjoy the sound of voices, drums, strings and trumpets, painting a full portrait of the winter season at St. Catherine of Sienna Church on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m.

The Winter Portrait Concert program includes Vivaldi’s L’inverno (Winter) from The Four Seasons featuring Maria Conti, violin and Mark Kaczmarczyk, harpsichordist; Corelli’s Concerto Grosso No. 8 for string orchestra, selections from Handel’s Messiah, Franz Biebl’s Ave Maria and exquisite arrangements of your favorite carols for choir and orchestra.

Acclaimed for his excellent performances by Chamber Music America Magazine, the performance will be conducted by Mark Kaczmarczyk, Director of Music and the Arts.

Join in for the celebration of the winter season at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Avenue, Riverside. Tickets are $25 general admission and $10 students. Order tickets by calling 203-637-3661 on Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or online 24/7 at Stcath.org.
