Sam Epley, an old Greenwich resident and a senior at The Masters School, has signed a letter of intent to play squash for Dartmouth for the next four years, where he will compete on the university’s Division I team.

Epley has received numerous accolades for his prowess on the squash courts and was recently named to the United States National Squash Team. He will represent our country at the British Junior Open held in Sheffield, England from Jan. 2 to 6, 2015 and is one of only four men representing Team USA.

Earlier this year, Epley participated in the prestigious U.S. Junior Squash Championships, held in Princeton, N.J., where he was awarded the William T. Ketcham, Jr. Award for most improved in his age group.

In a 12-month period, Epley improved his national ranking in the Boys Under-19 Division by 84 spots to qualify for the tournament. This is particularly impressive since Epley only started playing tournament squash four years ago.

The Masters School is proud of Sam’s many accomplishments.
