A New Soul Song debuts for Adopt-A-Dog

A New Soul Song Production made its premiere appearance on Sept. 21 at the annual Putting on the Dog festival at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.

Greenwich resident Christina Connors, A New Soul Song founder and producer, performed We Can Be Kind, a song written by David Friedman. Ms. Connors also interviewed children on why it is important to be kind for A New Soul Song’s first release in late October.

A New Soul Song is a musical production company whose aim is to use music as a canvas for children to openly share from their hearts and express their feelings, personal insights and wisdom. Through conversation with children and creating music together, everyone can learn how to live more heart-centered and, in turn, learn to create a more heart-centered world.

“With musical products, our goal is to heal, uplift and help create peace in the world for our children and our children’s children,” Ms. Connors said.

Ms. Connors interviews children on issues affecting our world. A song will be created with a music video sharing what is learned together. Each song will be available through the Internet and eventually songs will be made into a compilation CD. The CD will be created and sold with a portion of the proceeds supporting children’s charities.
