Registration is now open for runners and walkers looking to participate in the Greenwich Alliance for Education’s fourth annual Turkey Trot, to be held in Bruce Park on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 9:30 a.m.

Called the perfect post-Thanksgiving family activity, registrants will be able to choose from either a 5K race or a non-competitive one mile run/walk. The first 200 registrants receive a $5 gift card from Garden Catering. Race-day registration will take place inside the Arch Street Teen Center from 8 to 9 a.m. The cost race day will be $35 per adult and $15 per child 14 and under.

T-shirts and goody bags with offers from local merchants will be guaranteed to runners who register by Nov. 19 and to all other registrants while supplies last. New this year is chip timing for the 5K race. Warm-up and stretching will be organized prior to the one mile start by Greenwich Track Club.
