Clinic to help pet owners

There will be a Microchip Clinic at Greenwich Animal Control this Sunday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to noon.

This will be an informational session for pet owners so they can learn about this technology and how it can keep their pets safe. Microchips enable pets to be identified if they are separated from their owners. They are also an important part of emergency preparedness.

Orlaith Carr DVM of Greenwich Animal Hospital will be on site to administer microchips to your pet. The cost is $10 per pet (cash or check only). Bring only healthy pets to the clinic. Dogs must be leashed and cats in carriers.

The clinic is limited to Greenwich residents and town employees.
