Greenwich YWCA Dolphins’ Cochran named Coach of the Year

YWCA Greenwich Dolphins Swim Team’s age group head coach Jeremy Cochran has been named Age Group Coach of the Year by Connecticut Swimming.

Connecticut Swimming is a committee of U.S. Swimming. In his fourth season with the Dolphins, Cochran has overseen four national age group records and 28 Connecticut Age Group champions. Originally from Morristown, New Jersey, he graduated from West Virginia University.

He has been the assistant swimming coach at Farleigh Dickinson University and the head novice coach with the Greenwich Marlins.

“Jeremy has played a significant role in the success of the YWCA Dolphins Swim team,” said head coach Nick Cavataro.

The YWCA Greenwich Dolphins, founded in 1970, are a nationally ranked U.S. Swim Team with over 225 members aged five through 18. For more information go to Greenwichdolphins.com.
