Stanwich School holds STEM+ Expo

The Stanwich School’s STEM+ Expo will be held Saturday, Oct. 18. Check-in will be held from 11:30 to 12:45, with the program scheduled to run from 1 to 4.

STEM+ Expo is an afternoon of fast-paced, hands-on workshops for students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.

The expo is open to all students in Greenwich and surrounding areas. Parents are invited free of charge to attend a keynote address followed by an adult workshop while their children attend the student workshops.

Students select two workshops in science, technology, engineering, math, and more. Workshops include Chemistry Myth Busters; Living in a 2-D Universe; Audubon Adventures: Vernal Pond; Maritime Aquarium Squid Dissection; LEGO Robotics with Zaniac; MakerBot 3D Printing; and many more. The fee for STEM Expo is $40 per child. Register early — workshops fill quickly and registration closes on Friday, Oct. 10.

The Stanwich School is located at 257 Stanwich Road. For more details, call 203-542-0035 or visit Stanwichschool.org to register.
