Greenwich Library Halloween activities

Celebrate Halloween at Greenwich Library with pumpkin decorating and spooky fun for children and teens. Be sure to come in costume to the Spooky Silly Sing-Along on Oct. 29.

On Saturday, Oct. 11, from 2 to 3 the library will host a pumpkin painting event. Children are invited to paint a pumpkin which will then be displayed at event co-sponsor Greenwich Whole Foods, which will also provide refreshments. Ages five and up are welcome. Space is limited. Register in person in the Children’s Room or call 203-622-7940. Come to the library and carve a pumpkin on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 3 to 5 p.m. Students in grades six and up are invited to a pumpkin carving party in the meeting room. Carve a classic jack-o’-lantern or create your own design. Refreshments will be served, but space is limited.

On Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 10:30, the library will hold a Spooky Silly Sing-Along with Nappy’s Puppets. Nappy (Jim Napolitano) returns to Greenwich with his rollicking Halloween sing-along for ages two and up. Wear a costume and join the fun. No reservations or tickets needed, but space is limited.
