Tag sale planned at International School at Dundee

The International School at Dundee (ISD) will host its Fourth Annual Tag Sale, on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 11 to 4, in the ISD gymnasium. The event, which will be held rain or shine, is open to the public.

During the one-day tag sale, there will be an entire gymnasium full of gently used hockey gear, ski boots, skates, helmets, costumes, household goods, jewelry, toys, electronics, clothing, accessories, handbags, books, holiday items, linens, tools, fabric and collectibles.

According to tag sale co-chairs Mallika Singh and Penny Echevarria, all unsold items will be donated to local charities. “This tag sale not only raises funds for ISD student programming such as field trips and cultural partnerships, but also gives back to local charities and causes.”

Product donations will be accepted on Friday, Sept. 26, from 12 to 7, at the ISD gymnasium. For information about the tag sale, contact Mallika Singh ([email protected]) and Penny Echevarria ([email protected]).

The International School at Dundee was authorized in July 2003 as an official International Baccalaureate school. ISD is one of only 181 IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) authorized schools in the U.S, and one of only a few elementary schools in Connecticut to receive the IBPYP accreditation. ISD offers programs for students from kindergarten through fifth grade.

ISD has a student body population of 375 students and is comprised of students who live on designated streets, as well as magnet students from throughout Greenwich who apply to the school via a lottery system.
