Lisa Marie D’Angelo, 42, beloved free spirit

Lisa Marie D’Angelo, 42, of Old Greenwich, Conn. passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 9th 2014. She was born September 19th 1971 in the Bronx, N.Y. to George and Dahlia D’Angelo.

Lisa is survived by her parents, loving Brother George (Kerry) of Riverside, nephews: Derek and Jake; Her Nonna Elia Colangelo; Loving Aunts and Uncle, Rina Ricucci and Roseanne and Paul Montali, Cousins Christina, Paul, Bobby; dear friend Bobby Amato and of course her rescued bulldog, Pearl. She is pre deceased by her loved Grandparents, Fabrizio & Olga D’angelo and Nonno Otello Colangelo; and Cousin James Ricucci.

Lisa was a long time Greenwich resident who graduated from St. Mary’s High School and went on to attend Mitchell College in New London. She worked for many years as a paralegal and most recently worked as a Nurse’s Aide.

Lisa lived her life how only she knew how, as a free spirited woman who loved her family, friends, bulldog and all she came across. She made lots of people smile, laugh and cry but all have great memories of her presence. She loved caring for others in need.

A memorial service will be held at St. Catherine’s of Siena Church in Riverside, Conn. on Friday, September 19th 2014 at 10 a.m., which is her birthday.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Long Island Bulldog Rescue, PO Box 239, Stony Brook, NY 11790.
