St. Catherine of Siena Church hosts Dinner with A Cause

St. Catherine of Siena Church’s Social Justice Committee is extending an invitation to the community for the second event in its Dinner with A Cause series, which introduces area organizations that are supporting the principles of social justice.

This session will highlight the work of New Covenant House (“The Soup Kitchen”). Interested people may attend on Thursday, Sept. 18, to learn about this mission and the opportunities for becoming involved. Brian Jenkins, the director, will lead the discussion and will share his story.

A simple supper will be provided at 6:30 in the Lucey Church Hall, lower level of the church. RSVP to [email protected] if you wish to come for supper. A $10 free-will offering will be collected at the door to benefit NCH. Mr. Jenkins’ presentation will begin at 7:15 p.m. and will end by 8:30.
