Artistic Director Claudia DeVita and Managing Director Carrie Page have announced the opening of the Allegra Dance fall semester at 37 West Putnam Avenue.

The fall semester begins on Sept. 2 with classes in classical ballet and pointe under the direction of Ballet Mistress Emily Glaze Isidori.

All students participating in the ballet program at Allegra are eligible to perform in two productions of The Nutcracker held at Purchase College in New York in November.

All principal roles are held by students of the Allegra Dance Ballet program. Auditions will be held for the principal roles and new students to the studio are welcome to join.To obtain further information on the classical ballet program contact Allegra at 203-629-9162 or visit Allegradancegreenwich.com for a schedule of classes. Classes are also held in hip hop, tap, jazz and modern dance. For the young student ages three to seven, the Rising Stars program has been developed to be sure the youngest dancer is properly aligned and learns to love dance.
