Terrific turtles at the Seaside Center

Turtle expert and Seaside Center Naturalist Tim Walsh will talk turtles during a family program on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Bruce Museum Seaside Center at Greenwich Point Park in Old Greenwich.

Can a turtle come out of its shell? How many different kinds of turtles are there? Are there any turtles that live near me? Do turtles make good pets?

Come learn the answers to these questions and more.

The program features a variety of live turtles plus turtle crafts and games including putting together a turtle shell puzzle.

The program is free and all ages are welcome. No reservations are needed, but a beach pass is required for park entry. See the town of Greenwich website for beach pass information.
