Virginia’s House of Hope will host its second annual Polo Benefit for Hope fund-raiser at Greenwich Polo Club Aug. 31.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Tugboat Program, a three-week maritime work-mentorship program meant to prepare young adults for careers in the industry. Those chosen for the program come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The fund-raiser will run from noon to 5 p.m., kicking off the fall polo season. Attractions include an all day open bar, silent auction and food tastings provided by local restaurants.

Tickets and sponsorship packages are available at Virginiahouseofhope.org.
